None except for warp I think the current format works in this league.

Only for warp and grid problems.

someone who wrecks the field being over aggressive shouldn't get a second chance to do the same and not hit anyone... When we had three restarts, it was always the same driver(s) that caused all three wrecks.

If someone pulls that 'bomb everyone on lap one' shit, park em immediately. don't score them if they don't disconnect right there. Then, suspend them effective imediately.

The no restarts for 2008 really kept a lot of people honest, and made for much better race starts.

Again, make it like the real thing. If you screw things up on lap 1, then oh well... that's the way it works. I also agree with Bover... I have not been in the league long, but I too would assume it is the same people over and over again.

I pace lap and a chatted "go" from the pole sitter. There would be no need for restarts because most early warp issues would be determined within a one lap frame time. How many races have been restarted ,say after 3 to 10 laps or more in the past? This type of start helps eliminate the jerkiness of some of the cars stopping and going and whatever in the beginning.By one lap your either ready or pull over and get out the way!

NHRL as never restarted a race after lap one has been completed. I would say this post is because some unfornutate fellas have been damned with bad luck and been wrecked early and wants and deserves a restart. Too bad it isn't worth the whole fields troubles.

warp only... However cautions would be terrific if we could find someone willing to not be in the race every week & drive the pace car..

#1 Warping and 2. 1 restart in case of grid problems , not for stupid wreckin, but sometimes the grid, back there, gets messed up, expecially with a lot of drivers in the field :-k

having not started in the back in awhile I can only agree with Jesse's comments. Warp only, and that has been , in the past, corrected prior to the start. Guys in the back have the option to type "Warp!"or "Grid!" to signal a bad grid on the start. just dont get caught abusing the option

No restarts. Not fair to people like myself who have been wrecked in turn 1, on lap 1. If it's not broke don't fix it.

As far as wrecking or getting wrecked:
!. You don't just go when the flag comes down, you go when the guy in front of you goes. If you don't qualify on
the first few rows, you may or may not see all of the cars ahead of you on the start, regardless of your display
settings .You might only see 5 cars ahead. So take heed of the cars you can see and let them be your 'Canary in a coalmine'. If they let up or suddenly take a different line, odds are they are seeing a car that you can't see due to the bandwidth limitations of online racing. Don't be stupid and attempt to take advantage of their slowing or moving off line on the first few laps. Odds are they are making a move to avoid an incident involving cars that are not registering to you as a client.
