while I guess I spoke too soon, when I went under multiplayer and logged on to 1.heatfinder, good so far, did some practice time and everything worked fine, and tryed to pratice on line with others, clicked on go to race, unexpected shut down of nascar heat.....

If you dont have the track currently being raced in a server your game will crash when you try to connect.

My original cd was the original Hasbro disc but had gotten a scratch and wouldn't install the New hamp track so i obtained this newer cd.
I followed all the correct installation methods, and stilll i see a data and a tracks directory in the heat log file, Neither exist in my actual comptuer directory though?????????? Any ideas?.....

It might not need to be there, but it your game works and you have no issues I wouldn't worry about it. :)
